The United States must make a radical redirection of priorities to protect the climate between now and the United Nations Climate Change Conference to be held in Paris between November 30 and December 11, 2015.

  • A public U.S. commitment not to spy on the other delegations or their governments.
  • A public U.S. commitment to end all new drilling, mining, and exploration for fossil fuels.
  • An end to all U.S. government subsidies of fossil fuels.
  • A shift of $100 billion per year from the biggest U.S. polluter, the military, to investment in renewable energy.
  • A public commitment to make all U.S. energy renewable by 2030.
