HR PRO Workshop: Challenging Times,
In these challenging times, downsizing and restructuring feel common place, yet that doesn’t make the decisions and the processes any less difficult. Organizations need to understand the legal issues surrounding a reduction in force, and how to organize and implement a dignified and efficient process, from choosing which employees to downsize to informing them of the decision and their eventual departure.
The aftermath of such an event can be disheartening and challenging for those who survive. The Challenging Times, Difficult Decisions workshop will help inform you about the legal issues you must consider, provide a roadmap to implementing the process and how to assist your on-going employees with the aftermath of downsizing.
This workshop is free to FPWA members who are current with their 2012 dues.
