Online fundraising. Online organizing. Online politics. New Media. Who actually does this work? Many of us use the catch-all description ‘online organizer.’ And many of you would like to join our ranks, or learn more about advancing. This is your chance.

Our speakers, professional online organizers with from different parts of the nonprofit and political worlds, will talk about how they entered the field, recent and upcoming changes, advice for young ‘uns and aspiring career changers, and the sub-specialties you might want to become familiar with.

Join Organizing 2.0 and GrassrootsCamp to hear senior online organizers in New York City discuss their career paths and offer advice. We will also hand out resources for free and low cost training and networks for job seekers. Co-sponsored by Manhattan Young Democrats and New Kings Democrats.

We’ll start the event at 6:00pm promptly, with networking/shmoozing time after the formal panel.
