Counter the pro-Gitmo politics of fear

Liz Cheney and her friends at “Keep America Safe” are playing with the politics of fear. Unless Human Rights First stops their distortions, President Obama may abandon his commitment to constitutional civilian trials for Guantanamo detainees – effectively undermining our nation’s commitment to justice.

We’re mobilizing moderate leaders and military voices to remind President Obama to protect the values that set us apart from terrorists. But we urgently need more resources.
