New 90-Day Project Deadline Guide

In order to ensure that SMUD customers are getting the best services from SMUD HPP Contractors, and to accurately predict year-end project totals and rebates, we have created a one-page “90-Day Project Deadline Guideline.” This guide will help you understand effective ways to help your customers receive the best services in a timely manner. These guidelines apply to all projects that were authorized since January 1, 2014.

Also please don’t forget to read all of our existing guides for contractors and customers. These are great resources for installation crews and homeowner education. New SMUD pilot to test streamlined job submission

Over the next three months, SMUD HPP will be conducting a pilot to test a new streamlined job submission process with a small group of High Performing Contractors that meet pilot criteria for quality performance on project paperwork, customer service, and project installation.

Among the High Performing Contractor pilot protocols: No pre-upgrade JRT submission required - use of air leakage and duct leakage defaults in lieu of a Blower Door and Duct Blaster® tests-in. Note: Pilot participant enrollment is closed. Contractors interested in qualifying for the streamlined job submission program, which will potentially launch post pilot, should take this opportunity to improve their quality of field work and documentation submission. To obtain information about quality performance requirements please contact Moe Srifi at moe@efficiencyfirstca.org
