People Before Drug Company Profits
Large drug companies such as Mylan – the maker of EpiPen – have been price gouging the American people for years. But Mylan is just a symptom of a much bigger problem – a corrupt system where drug corporations spend millions on lobbying so that Congress does nothing to take away their monopolies.
We’ve seen this in recent years with insulin –a necessary treatment for many of the 29 million Americans who are living with diabetes – whose price has risen by more than 200% since 2002.
Join Social Security Works in calling on President Obama to enact executive actions to protect the American public from unjustified drug price increases.
If Congress won’t act, President Obama can!
