Tell the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to Take Back a Humanitarian Award Given to Hillary Clinton
Hillary Clinton should not be receiving a humanitarian award. Allowing that to stand would suggest to future officials that they can be rewarded as humanitarians, and specifically for "contributions to the field of children’s mental health," even if their actual record is dramatically opposed to that agenda.
Clinton has been a leading opponent of universal health coverage, a reliable advocate for corporate trade and Wall Street, a board member of Walmart, a major player in the elimination of welfare as we knew it, a supporter of increased incarceration, and one of the most reliably hawkish supporters of sanctions, wars, coups, and military spending.
